Key Responsibilities
Export Documentation
Prepare or verify export shipping documents including:
o Commercial Invoice
o Packing List
o Bill of Lading (B/L)
o Shipping Bill
o Certificate of Origin
o SI/VGM filing
Coordinate with shipping lines for booking confirmation and vessel schedules
Prepare draft and final B/L copies
Submit AMS/ENS/ISF filings where required
Import Documentation
Handle import shipment documentation and arrival notices
Coordinate with customers, CHA, transporters, and overseas agents
Verify IGM details and shipping documents
Support customs clearance process
Coordination & Operations
Coordinate with:
o Shipping lines
o Freight forwarders
o Customs brokers (CHA)
o Transporters
o Overseas agents
o Internal sales and operations teams
Follow up for document approvals and shipment status
Maintain shipment records and tracking reports
Compliance & System Handling
Ensure documentation complies with customs and international trade regulations
Maintain proper filing of physical and digital records
Update shipment details in ERP/Cargo Wise/software systems
Required Skills
Knowledge of freight forwarding and shipping documentation
Understanding of shipping terms and Incoterms 2020
Familiarity with import/export procedures
Good communication and coordination skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and shipment deadlines
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and logistics software
Pay: Up to ₹28,000.00 per month
