Department: Operations – Customs Clearance
*Job Summary*
We are looking for a G Card / H Card Holder to handle day-to-day customs clearance operations for import and export shipments. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating with Customs, CFS/port authorities, transporters and internal teams to ensure smooth and timely clearance of shipments.
*Key Responsibilities*
Handle day-to-day Import & Export Customs Clearance Operations.
Coordinate with Customs officers, CFS, transporters and other stakeholders.
Attend and coordinate Customs examination, assessment and clearance of shipments.
Follow up on Duty Payment, examination, assessment, OOC/LEO, delivery and related customs processes.
Coordinate with the documentation team for submission and verification of required documents.
Handle Customs queries and coordinate for timely resolution.
Coordinate for PGA / NOC / other regulatory requirements, wherever applicable.
Follow up on documentation and supporting documents required for clearance.
Maintain proper records of customs clearance activities and pending shipments.
Coordinate with transporters for timely movement and delivery of cleared cargo.
Handle post-clearance follow-ups such as duty refunds, drawback, bond-related matters and other applicable processes whenever requested from office.
Ensure compliance with applicable Customs procedures and company SOPs.
Resolve operational issues and escalate critical matters to the reporting manager.
Candidate Requirements
G Card / H Card holder is mandatory.
Practical knowledge of Import & Export Customs procedures.
Good understanding of ICEGATE, Bill of Entry, Shipping Bill, eSanchit, Customs examination and clearance procedures.
Experience dealing with Customs authorities, CFS/ports and other operational stakeholders.
Good communication, coordination and follow-up skills.
Ability to handle multiple shipments and operational priorities.
Basic knowledge of MS Office/Excel.
Candidates with G Card preferred; H Card holders with strong practical customs clearance knowledge may also be considered.
*Preferred Background*
Candidates from Customs Brokers / CHA / Freight Forwarding companies with hands-on experience in customs clearance and operational coordination will be preferred.
