Role Overview
- Designation: Business Development Executive Intern
- Department: Sales and Business Development
- Reporting to: Sales Manager - RR Enterprise
As a Business Development Executive Intern, you will be the first point of contact between potential clients and our company. Your primary focus will be identifying, reaching, and warming up potential clients through smart outreach - digital, telephonic, and social - and connecting them to our solutions.
This is a real, hands-on sales role. You will be doing actual business development work from Day 1.
What You Will Do
- Research and identify potential clients through LinkedIn, social media platforms, WhatsApp communities, and local networks.
- Build targeted prospect lists based on demographics, location, and financial profile relevant to our services.
- Communicate the value of our services clearly and confidently in English, Hindi or local language
- Follow up consistently with prospects who have shown initial interest
- Handle basic queries and objections in the first conversation before passing to the senior team
- Schedule meetings, calls, and consultations between qualified prospects and our senior advisors
- Contribute to outreach via Instagram DMs, Facebook groups, and WhatsApp broadcasts
What We Are Looking For
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi or Bengali.
- Confidence to initiate conversations with strangers - on phone, in person, and online
- A smartphone with reliable internet access
- Basic familiarity with WhatsApp, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Willingness to learn and take feedback without ego
Good to Have - Not Mandatory:
- Any prior experience in sales, marketing, customer service, or telecalling - even informal
- Knowledge of financial products like insurance or investments
