The ideal candidate will have experience in SCADA,IT, Communication & Cyber security engineering for power transmission projects, strong knowledge of industrial communication protocols, and a solid understanding of cybersecurity requirements. The role requires close collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and system commissioning.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Design, configure, and implement HMI (Human Machine Interface), cybersecurity, and communication systems.
- Perform system integration, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Prepare technical specifications, engineering documentation, and operation manuals.
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams to clarify project requirements and resolve technical issues.
- Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with suppliers and customers.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, cybersecurity standards, and customer requirements.
- Provide technical support throughout project execution and after commissioning.
- Respond to customer enquiry by understanding the technical requirement
- Prepare the offer to cater the customer requirement technically and commercially
Required Knowledge
- Hands-on experience in HMI configuration using: WinCC OA, Zenon (SICAM 230), SIMATIC WinCC
- Basic knowledge of programming and automation technologies.
- Good understanding of IT system, Cybersecurity, Communication & SCADA systems for power transmission operations.
- Knowledge of communication protocols: IEC 60870-5-101 (IEC 101),IEC 60870-5-104 (IEC 104), IEC 61850, MOD BUS, TCP/IP, UDP etc.
- Hand on experience on IT system & cybersecurity concepts and system security practices.
- Know how Theoretical know how TCP/IP, routing, switching, redundancy mechanisms time synchronization, etc.
- Configuration of Switches, routers, firewalls from manufacturer CISCO, RuggedCom, Checkpoint, Fortinet, etc.
- Knowledge in IT Security for industrial applications (concepts, hardening, documentation)
- Knowledge of international IT-Security standards (IEC62443 3-3, Nerc Cip, BDEW,...) and implementation experience of the corresponding requirements in control systems.
- Security of IT components, networks and applications in theory (Threat analysis) and practice (penetration testing) ortinet, etc. etration testing)
What You Bring
- B.E / B. Tech in Electrical/Electrical and Electronics with 4 to 8 years of experience.
- Experience working with IT, Cybersecurity & SCADA systems in the power transmission industry.
- Experience in project engineering and customer coordination.
- Strong understanding of power transmission SCADA applications.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.

Our product portfolio includes AIS (upto 800 kV), GIS (upto 420 kV), Power Transformers (upto 765 kV, 500 MVA), Reactors (upto 765 kV), Traction Transformers (upto 33 kV, 10 MVA).
