Position: Area Sales Manager (ASM) – Soft Furnishings

Job Summary:
The Area Sales Manager for the soft furnishings division will be responsible for driving sales and managing retail operations in the Bangalore region. The role involves strategic planning, business development, and leading the sales team to achieve set targets. The ASM will also build relationships with key retailers, distributors, and business partners while ensuring product placement and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development:
- Achieve sales targets through effective sales strategies for the soft furnishings product line.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand market presence in Bangalore.
- Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions where necessary.
- Retail & Distribution Management:
- Manage relationships with distributors, retailers, and other partners to optimize product availability and sales.
- Conduct store visits to assess product performance, stock levels, and merchandising.
- Ensure that soft furnishing products are displayed prominently and meet brand standards.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and motivate the sales team to ensure they meet their targets and contribute to the brand’s growth.
- Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to sales representatives.
- Set clear goals and monitor the performance of the team in the region.
- Market & Competitor Analysis:
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on market conditions and sales performance.
- Promotional Activities:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional campaigns and events.
- Ensure effective execution of promotional strategies to enhance brand visibility.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build strong relationships with key accounts and ensure their satisfaction with the product range.
- Address client queries, resolve issues, and ensure the best possible customer experience.
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the soft furnishings or home décor sector.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Proficient in sales forecasting and market analysis.
- Willingness to travel across the region.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
