ABOUT THE COMPANY:
Ramgarh Sponge Iron Pvt Ltd, part of the MP Rungta Group,
is setting up a world-class DRI (Direct Reduced Iron) and
Power Plant facility in Madhya Pradesh. We are building a
high-performance team to drive this project from
construction through commissioning and operations.
ROLE SUMMARY:
The Project Store Keeper will own end-to-end store
operations at the DRI & Power Plant construction site.
This is a critical operations role directly impacting
project timelines and material accountability.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming materials
against Purchase Orders and delivery challans
- Generate Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) accurately and
coordinate with procurement and accounts for invoice
processing
- Maintain real-time stock records in ERP / store
management system at all times
- Issue materials only against properly authorized
Material Requisition Notes (MRN)
- Conduct periodic and surprise physical stock
verifications and reconcile count variances
- Identify slow-moving, non-moving, excess, or rejected
items and prepare aged inventory reports
- Ensure FIFO-based storage, correct stacking, labelling,
and segregation per safety norms
- Manage all store documentation — gate passes,
inter-site transfers, material return notes
- Monitor minimum and reorder stock levels to prevent
project stoppages
- Maintain store in audit-ready condition at all times
QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.A. / B.Com / B.Sc. / BBA
- BBA in Materials Management preferred
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 3 to 5 years in store management and/or supply chain
- Experience must be in a Steel Plant, Sponge Iron Plant,
Power Plant, or similar heavy industrial environment
KEY SKILLS:
- GRN / MRN documentation and processing
- Stock reconciliation and variance analysis
- ERP / store management software proficiency
- Engineering item and spare parts classification
- MS Excel for stock reporting
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
