JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a passionate and committed Social Science Teacher to join our School of Excellence. The role involves delivering high-quality instruction in History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics, while nurturing analytical thinking, civic responsibility, and global awareness among students.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with national/state curriculum standards
- Teach Social Science subjects with an interdisciplinary and inquiry-based approach
- Foster critical thinking, research skills, and informed perspectives on social issues
- Integrate technology and innovative pedagogies into classroom teaching
- Assess student progress using formative and summative evaluation methods
- Provide individualized academic support to enhance student performance
- Maintain a disciplined, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching practices and curriculum delivery
- Participate actively in school initiatives, training programs, and academic planning
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Social Science, Education, or a related discipline
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge across History, Geography, Civics, and Economics
- Prior teaching experience in a reputed institution (preferred)
