Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Conventional Lathe Machine Operator to handle precision turning operations in our manufacturing unit. The candidate should be capable of independent job setting and maintaining dimensional accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate conventional lathe machines for turning, facing, threading, boring, and grooving operations.
- Perform job setting, tool setting, and alignment.
- Read and interpret 2D engineering drawings.
- Maintain required tolerances and surface finish.
- Use measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer, dial gauge, bore gauge, thread gauge.
- Ensure machine safety, daily maintenance, and proper housekeeping.
- Meet production targets while maintaining quality standards.
Requirements:
- ITI (Turner) / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
- 1 – 5 years of experience in conventional lathe operation.
- Good knowledge of cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and machining practices.
- Ability to work independently and handle production jobs.
- Responsible and disciplined work attitude.
- Willing to come in Shifts. 2 Shifts. (6am till 3pm&3pm till 12am)
