Labour Room Nurse – Job Description
- Provide nursing care to pregnant women during labour, delivery, and immediate post-delivery period.
- Monitor maternal vital signs, fetal heart rate, and progress of labour.
- Assist doctors during normal and assisted deliveries and emergency procedures.
- Prepare and maintain labour room equipment and supplies.
- Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed.
- Assist during C-sections and manage post-operative care as required.
- Provide immediate newborn care and assist with neonatal resuscitation when needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and follow infection-control protocols.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to mothers and families.
Qualification: GNM / B.Sc. Nursing with valid Nursing Council registration.
Experience: Labour Room / Obstetric & Gynecology experience preferred.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
