We at WAMINDIA, a well-established video content licensing & distribution companies, are
looking for an experienced music industry professional to help build and scale a modern
music label focused on discovering, developing, promoting, and monetizing emerging talent
across North India.
The role will be responsible for talent acquisition, artist development, music production
coordination, release planning, marketing, digital growth, industry partnerships, and revenue
generation across music platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Discover and develop singers, composers, lyricists, musicians, and creators.
Build and manage talent scouting networks across North India.
Oversee music projects from development to release.
Creative production & music recording.
Executing contracts with talent.
Drive artist branding, audience growth, and music marketing initiatives.
Coordinate distribution and monetization across streaming, YouTube, social media,
licensing, and live opportunities.
Build relationships with artists, producers, distributors, platforms, and industry
partners.
Assist in building scalable systems, processes, and teams as the label grows.
Candidate Profile
5–10 years of experience in music labels, artist management, music publishing, digital
music, entertainment, or talent management.
Strong understanding of artist development, music marketing, digital platforms, and
music monetisation.
Knowledge of digital music platforms and music marketing.
Understanding of music distribution, licensing, rights, royalties, and monetisation.
Proven network within the Indian music ecosystem.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in a startup environment.
