We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented LiDAR Analyst / Engineer to process, analyze, and generate high-quality geospatial data from LiDAR datasets. The candidate will be responsible for point cloud classification, feature extraction, and ensuring data accuracy as per project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Process LiDAR point cloud data using tools such as TerraScan, TerraModeler, LAStools, or Global Mapper
- Perform point cloud classification (ground, vegetation, buildings, etc.)
- Generate and validate DTM, DSM, and contour data
- Conduct feature extraction (buildings, roads, utilities, etc.)
- Perform quality control (QC) and error correction
- Ensure deliverables meet client specifications and accuracy standards
- Work closely with project managers and GIS teams for timely delivery
- Maintain proper documentation of workflows and outputs
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial, Civil Engineering, Remote Sensing, or related field
- 1–4 years of experience in LiDAR data processing (freshers with strong training can be considered)
- Hands-on experience with TerraScan / TerraModeler, MicroStation, LAStools / Global Mapper
- Strong understanding of Point cloud classification, DTM/DSM generation, Coordinate systems and projections
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
