Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new products based on customer requirements, market trends, and internal specifications
- Prepare 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
- Conduct feasibility studies, design analysis, and material selection
- Coordinate with production, quality, purchase, and vendors for product development
- Create prototypes and oversee testing and validation processes
- Ensure product compliance with industry standards and customer specifications
- Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation
- Monitor product cost and suggest cost optimization initiatives
- Handle engineering changes and maintain design records
- Support trial runs and pilot production activities
- Resolve technical issues during development and initial production stages
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering or related field
Experience :
- 5–8 years of experience in new product development (manufacturing industry preferred)
