We are seeking a motivated Junior Desktop Engineer with 1 year of hands-on experience to join our IT support team. In this role, you will assist in deploying, configuring, and maintaining workstation hardware, operating systems, and business applications. You will serve as an escalation point for basic technical issues while learning to manage endpoints using modern enterprise tools like Microsoft Intune and Active Directory.
Key Responsibilities
- Endpoint Deployment: Provision, configure, and image new laptops and desktops (Windows/macOS) for onboarding employees using automated deployment tools.
- Troubleshooting & Tier 2 Support: Diagnose and resolve escalated hardware, software, network connectivity, and operating system issues for local and remote users.
- User & Access Management: Basic administration of Active Directory and Entra ID (Azure AD), including user account creation, password resets, and group permission updates.
- Patching & Maintenance: Assist in pushing software updates, antivirus definitions, and security patches across corporate endpoints.
- Asset & Hardware Management: Track hardware inventory, manage equipment assignment/returns, and prepare old devices for recycling or refresh.
- Basic Scripting: Run and adapt existing PowerShell or Bash scripts to automate simple administrative tasks and system checks.
- Documentation: Create clear user guides and document technical troubleshooting steps in the IT knowledge base.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
