Job Title: Legal Executive

Job Summary
The Legal Executive is responsible for providing legal and administrative support to the organization by drafting, reviewing, and maintaining legal documents, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, coordinating with external advocates, and minimizing legal risks associated with business operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Draft, review, and vet contracts, agreements, MOUs, NDAs, purchase orders, lease agreements, and other legal documents.
· Ensure compliance with applicable corporate, commercial, and statutory laws.
· Coordinate with external legal counsel on litigation, notices, legal opinions, and court matters.
· Prepare and respond to legal notices and maintain related documentation.
· Maintain legal records, licenses, registrations, and statutory documents.
· Track the renewal of licenses, agreements, contracts, and other legal compliances.
· Conduct legal research and provide legal updates to management.
· Assist in company secretarial and corporate governance activities, where applicable.
· Identify legal risks and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
· Ensure timely filing and documentation of legal and regulatory requirements.
· Assist during audits, inspections, and due diligence exercises.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized university.
· Enrollment with the Bar Council is preferred but not mandatory for in-house legal roles.
· Additional certification in Corporate Law or Labour Law is an added advantage.
Experience
· 10–15 years of experience in corporate legal, compliance, or legal advisory roles.
· Experience in drafting commercial contracts and handling compliance matters is preferred.

· Good communication and negotiation skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal documentation management.
