- Understanding customers: Ask questions, listen, and understand a customer's needs, interests, and budget
- Matching customers with cars: Suggest trade-ins and present car options that meet a customer's needs
- Demonstrating vehicles: Explain vehicle features, warranties, and services, and take customers on test drives
- Closing sales: Negotiate prices, overcome objections, and complete sales contracts
- Maintaining the showroom: Assist with the setup and display of vehicles
- Updating knowledge: Participate in training courses, read professional publications, and stay up to date on new products and services
- Providing sales management information: Complete reports and follow up on post-delivery items
- Improving dealership reputation: Accept ownership for requests and enhance the dealership's reputation
