Job Summary
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and experienced Senior Architect – Interior Design to lead and execute high-quality interior architecture and design projects from concept through completion. The ideal candidate will have strong design sensibilities, technical expertise, project coordination skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining quality, timelines, and client expectations.
The candidate should be capable of translating design concepts into functional and aesthetically compelling spaces while coordinating effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural and interior design process from concept development to project completion.
- Develop innovative and functional interior design concepts based on project requirements, budget, and client preferences.
- Prepare and review space planning, layouts, detailed drawings, elevations, sections, furniture layouts, and construction drawings.
- Develop design presentations, mood boards, material palettes, and 3D visualization concepts.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, lighting, HVAC, and other consultants to ensure design integration.
- Review technical drawings and ensure compliance with design intent, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Conduct site visits and monitor project execution to ensure that designs are implemented accurately.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, fabricators, and suppliers regarding design details and material specifications.
- Review samples, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and materials and provide design approvals.
- Identify design and execution issues and provide practical solutions while maintaining design quality.
- Manage project schedules, deliverables, and design milestones.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, design discussions, and project reviews.
- Mentor and guide junior architects and interior designers.
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed scope, quality, budget, and timeline.
- Maintain project documentation, drawings, revisions, specifications, and design records.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in architecture/interior design.
- Strong knowledge of interior architecture, space planning, materials, finishes, furniture, and construction detailing.
- Proven experience handling projects independently from concept through execution.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, detailing, and site execution.
- Excellent communication, presentation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and design quality.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Software Skills
Proficiency in relevant design and documentation software such as:
- AutoCAD(requi
- SketchUp
- 3ds Max / V-Ray / Enscape / Lumion or equivalent visualization tools
- Adobe Photoshop
- Knowledge of Revit or BIM workflows is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
- Strong creative and conceptual design abilities.
- Good understanding of contemporary interior design trends and materials.
- Experience in preparing BOQs, specifications, and material schedules.
- Strong vendor and contractor coordination skills.
- Ability to interpret and review architectural and MEP drawings.
