We’re Hiring: Senior Java Full Stack Developer
Hyderabad | Full-Time | Senior / Lead Level (Hands-on)
At SmartFish Designs, we’re looking for a highly experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer who can own end-to-end delivery of enterprise-grade applications for global clients across the US, UK, and ANZ markets.
This is not a “supervisory-only” role.
You’ll be writing production-grade code daily, architecting scalable AWS-native systems, mentoring teams, and solving the kind of complex problems that usually land on senior engineers’ desks.
Experience Required
- 9+ years overall experience
- 6+ years in Java
- 3+ years in Vue.js
- 1+ year in AWS
- 1+ year in Node.js
What You’ll Work On
- Architect and build serverless solutions using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS & EventBridge
- Develop scalable frontend applications using Vue 3, Vue 2 & TypeScript
- Build and integrate REST APIs across enterprise environments
- Design event-driven systems and optimize performance using Redis / ElastiCache
- Lead code reviews, system design discussions, and integration testing
- Troubleshoot and resolve high-impact production issues across the stack
- Collaborate with product, QA, and client stakeholders to deliver robust solutions
- Mentor engineers and drive engineering best practices
Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on expertise in AWS services
- Java, Node.js, REST APIs, JSON
- Vue.js (Vue 3 preferred), TypeScript, JavaScript ES6
- Micro-frontend architecture understanding
- GitHub workflows, YARN, YAML
- Agile / Scrum development experience
- Strong debugging and problem-solving capability
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Nice to Have
- Java / J2EE backend integration experience
- OAuth 2.0, Okta, SSO integrations
- GitHub Actions CI/CD
- Secure coding & application security practices
- Magnolia CMS exposure
- AWS Certifications
