Job Summary
The Commis I – Bakery is responsible for the preparation, production, and finishing of bakery products while maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and food safety. The role requires hands-on experience in bakery operations, consistency in product execution, and a willingness to travel across India to support production, new outlet launches, training, and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of bakery products including breads, buns, cakes, pastries, cookies, muffins, and other baked goods as per standard recipes.
- Ensure consistency in product quality, taste, texture, and presentation.
- Follow production schedules and daily manufacturing plans efficiently.
- Measure, mix, proof, bake, and finish products according to established procedures.
- Monitor inventory of bakery ingredients and report stock requirements to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bakery section, equipment, and workstations.
- Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and quality standards at all times.
- Minimize wastage through proper handling and storage of raw materials and finished products.
- Assist in product trials, recipe standardization, and new product development as required.
- Support outlet openings, production units, and operational requirements across different locations in India.
- Coordinate effectively with kitchen, production, and operations teams.
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff and helpers whenever required.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
