Kyptec Automation® is looking for a motivated and result-oriented Business Development Executive – Machine Vision & OEM Sales to generate business for our machine vision lenses, industrial camera lenses, machine vision cables, camera cables, and automation-related products.
The candidate will be responsible for contacting OEMs, distributors, system integrators, machine vision companies, automation companies, inspection machine manufacturers, industrial equipment manufacturers, and B2B customers worldwide. The main responsibility will be to generate qualified leads, develop business relationships, follow up with prospects, and support sales growth in domestic and international markets.
This role is suitable for candidates with experience or knowledge in machine vision, industrial automation, technical sales, B2B sales, OEM sales, distributor sales, export sales, industrial sales, electronic components, industrial cameras, optical lenses, cable assemblies, robotics, or factory automation.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation and Business Development
- Generate new business leads for machine vision lenses, industrial camera lenses, machine vision cables, industrial camera cables, and automation products.
- Identify and contact potential OEMs, distributors, system integrators, automation companies, industrial buyers, machine builders, inspection system manufacturers, and factory automation companies.
- Search for potential customers through LinkedIn, Google Search, industry directories, trade portals, exhibition lists, company websites, distributor networks, and B2B platforms.
- Build a strong database of domestic and international prospects with company name, contact person, email, phone number, country, product requirement, and follow-up status.
- Generate business opportunities from India as well as global markets.
OEM Sales and Distributor Development
- Contact OEMs and distributors worldwide through email, phone, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and other professional communication channels.
- Develop long-term business relationships with OEM customers, distributors, resellers, and channel partners.
- Promote Kyptec Automation® products to companies working in machine vision systems, vision inspection, robotics, industrial automation, quality inspection, image processing, electronics manufacturing, packaging, pharma, automotive, semiconductor, and factory automation.
- Support distributor appointment and channel development activities in different countries.
- Follow up regularly with prospects to convert inquiries into business opportunities.
Technical Sales Support
- Understand customer requirements related to machine vision lenses, focal length, sensor size, megapixel resolution, C-mount lenses, industrial camera lenses, working distance, field of view, machine vision cable type, connector type, and application use case.
- Share product catalogues, technical specifications, pricing, sample details, and commercial information with customers.
- Coordinate with the internal team for technical product selection, pricing, quotation, product availability, and sample support.
- Help customers select suitable products for applications such as visual inspection, defect detection, barcode reading, dimension measurement, robotic guidance, positioning, quality control, and industrial imaging.
Sales Follow-Up and Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain regular follow-up with leads, prospects, OEMs, distributors, and existing customers.
- Track all customer communication, quotation status, sample requests, product discussions, and sales opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records in Excel, CRM, Google Sheets, or company lead management system.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for leads generated, calls made, emails sent, customer responses, quotations shared, and follow-ups completed.
- Share customer feedback, competitor information, pricing feedback, and product demand with management.
Market Research
- Research the machine vision and industrial automation market in India and overseas.
- Identify new industries, countries, distributors, OEMs, and machine builders where Kyptec Automation® products can be promoted.
- Study competitor products, pricing, market positioning, and distributor networks.
- Find new opportunities in industrial cameras, machine vision lenses, FA lenses, CCTV lenses, optical lenses, automation cables, cable assemblies, inspection machines, robotics, and factory automation systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Technical Sales, Industrial Sales, OEM Sales, Distributor Sales, Export Sales, Inside Sales, Lead Generation, or Sales Coordination will be preferred.
- Knowledge of the machine vision industry, industrial automation, industrial cameras, machine vision lenses, optical lenses, machine vision cables, cable assemblies, robotics, or electronic components will be highly preferred.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to communicate professionally with Indian and international customers.
- Strong lead generation, prospecting, follow-up, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable using LinkedIn, email, Excel, CRM tools, Google Search, B2B portals, and online directories.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, organized, and disciplined.
- Ability to understand technical products and explain them clearly to customers.
Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have interest or experience in machine vision, industrial automation, B2B technical sales, OEM business development, distributor development, or export sales.
The candidate should be confident in contacting new companies, speaking with purchase teams, technical teams, business owners, distributors, and OEM decision-makers. The person should be able to understand customer requirements, follow up professionally, and help convert leads into business opportunities.
