We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant (3–5 years) to take complete ownership of our existing SAP ERP system. The role involves gathering business requirements from cross-functional departments, preparing functional documentation (FRD, Blueprint, URS), coordinating with implementation partners, managing RFCs, and ensuring seamless integration with different APIs.
The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business users and technical teams to ensure continuous improvement, optimization, and stability of the SAP ERP environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. SAP ERP Ownership & Support
● Take complete functional ownership of the existing SAP ERP system.
● Act as the single point of contact between business users and SAP implementation partners.
● Ensure system stability, performance, and continuous improvement.
● Handle SAP configuration changes where applicable.
2. Requirement Gathering & Documentation
● Interact with stakeholders from various departments (Finance, Purchase, Sales, Inventory, Production, HR, etc.).
● Prepare detailed documentation including:
○ Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
○ Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
○ User Requirement Specifications (URS)
○ Blueprint Documents
○ Functional Specifications (FS)
● Ensure documentation is clear, structured, and ready for technical development.
3. Change Management & RFC Handling
● Manage and document all RFCs (Requests for Change).
● Perform impact analysis for proposed changes.
● Coordinate development with SAP partner/technical team.
● Validate solutions before deployment.
● Ensure proper testing (Unit Testing, UAT) and sign-off.
4. Testing & User Coordination
● Prepare test cases and testing scenarios.
● Ensure proper defect tracking and resolution.
● Provide end-user training and support documentation.
5. Continuous Improvement
● Identify process gaps and suggest improvements.
● Drive optimization initiatives within SAP modules.
● Ensure best practices are followed in system usage.
● Support future upgrades, rollouts, or module expansions.
Required Skills & QualificationsExperience:
● 3–5 years of hands-on SAP Functional experience.
● Experience in at least one full SAP implementation lifecycle.
● Strong experience in support and post-implementation stabilization.
Technical/Functional Expertise:
● Strong knowledge in one or more SAP modules (e.g., FICO / MM / SD / PP / HCM).
● Experience in cross-module integration.
● Good understanding of SAP configuration and customization processes.
● Knowledge of IDOCs, APIs, and integration concepts.
● Experience handling RFC and change management processes.
Documentation & Communication:
● Strong experience in preparing FRD, BRD, URS, Blueprint, FS documents.
● Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
● Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
