About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and result-oriented Field Sales Executive to drive business growth in the Education sector. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships with schools, educational institutions, and decision-makers, and converting prospects into long-term customers.
The ideal candidate should have experience in B2B sales, strong communication and presentation skills, and the ability to manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
● Identify and acquire new schools, educational institutions, and academic partners.
● Conduct field visits and face-to-face meetings with Principals, Management Teams, Trustees, and Academic Coordinators.
● Generate qualified leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market mapping.
● Present product demonstrations and articulate value propositions effectively.
● Drive the complete sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and closure.
● Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
Market Intelligence
● Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
● Gather customer feedback and share insights with internal teams.
● Identify new market opportunities and expansion areas.
Sales Operations
● Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in CRM.
● Submit daily activity reports, pipeline updates, and forecasting reports.
● Follow sales governance and discipline in execution processes.
Required Qualifications
● Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field.
● 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales.
● Experience selling to schools, colleges, educational institutions, or EdTech products is highly preferred.
● Strong understanding of consultative selling and solution-based sales approaches.
● Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Required Skills
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
● Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
● Relationship-building and stakeholder management.
Preferred Candidate Profile
● Prior experience in EdTech, Education Solutions, School ERP, Learning Platforms.
● Existing network within schools and educational institutions.
● Comfortable conducting product demos and workshops.
● Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory.
● Immediate joiners or candidates with a notice period of less than 30 days preferred.
● Experience handling enterprise-level or institutional sales.
