Job Summary
The General Duty Nurse is responsible for providing quality nursing care to patients, assisting doctors during procedures, monitoring patient health conditions, administering medications, and ensuring patient safety and comfort in the hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in OPD, ward, OT, and IVF units
- Monitor and record patient vital signs regularly
- Administer medications, injections, and IV fluids as prescribed by doctors
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and surgeries
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and medical procedures
- Maintain accurate nursing records and patient documentation
- Ensure infection control and hospital safety protocols
- Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care
- Educate patients and attendants regarding treatment and care instructions
- Coordinate with doctors, lab technicians, pharmacy, and other departments
- Handle emergency situations and provide first aid when required
- Maintain cleanliness of nursing stations and medical equipment
Qualification
- GNM / B.Sc Nursing
- Valid Nursing Council Registration preferred
Experience
- Fresher or experienced candidates can apply
- IVF / OT / Ward experience preferred

Salary
- ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (Based on experience)
