Job Summary
We are seeking a caring, responsible, and experienced Babysitter/Infant Caregiver to provide attentive care for our 7-month-old baby. The ideal candidate should have experience handling infants, maintain a safe and nurturing environment, and support the baby’s daily routine, feeding, hygiene, and developmental activities.
Key Responsibilities
Infant Care
- Ensure the baby’s safety, comfort, and well-being at all times.
- Feed the baby according to the prescribed schedule (formula, breast milk, or solids as instructed).
- Burp, soothe, and comfort the baby when needed.
- Change diapers regularly and maintain proper hygiene.
- Monitor the baby’s sleep schedule and assist with naps.
Development & Engagement
- Engage the baby in age-appropriate play and developmental activities.
- Encourage sensory, motor, and cognitive development through interactive play.
- Read books, sing songs, and provide stimulating activities.
Health & Safety
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for the baby.
- Sterilize feeding bottles and baby utensils.
- Monitor the baby for signs of illness or discomfort and promptly inform parents.
- Follow emergency procedures if required.
Household Support (Baby-Related Only)
- Wash and organize baby bottles, utensils, and toys.
- Maintain cleanliness of the nursery and baby play areas.
- Organize baby clothes and essentials.
- Prepare simple baby meals as instructed.
Communication
- Provide regular updates to parents regarding feeding, sleeping, diaper changes, activities, and any concerns.
- Maintain a daily log of the baby’s routine if required.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience caring for infants under 1 year of age.
- Knowledge of infant feeding, sleep routines, and hygiene practices.
- Basic First Aid
- Patient, compassionate, trustworthy, and attentive.
- Non-smoker.
- Ability to follow parents’ instructions and routines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in childcare, early childhood education, or nursing.
- Experience with infant developmental activities.
- References from previous childcare roles.
Working Hours
- 9AM - 4 PM
- Flexibility for occasional evenings or weekends is preferred.

- Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
