Core leadership and governance
- Own the IT operations roadmap; align infrastructure and support with business priorities.
- Lead and mentor the service desk/ops team; set SLAs, KPIs, and drive continuous improvement.
- Manage IT budgeting, vendor contracts, licensing, and asset lifecycle.
- Establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and change/release management.
Infrastructure and network
- Design, implement, and maintain on-prem/cloud infrastructure (servers, virtualization, storage, backups).
- Administer enterprise networking: switching, routing, SD-WAN/MPLS/leased lines, VPNs, Wi‑Fi.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation; monitor capacity and performance.
Systems and platforms
- Oversee Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory/AAD, identity/access management, group policies.
- Manage email/collaboration suites, endpoint management (SCCM/Intune/JAMF), patching, and imaging.
- Ensure reliable backups, DR/BCP plans, and regular recovery testing.
Security and compliance
- Implement security controls: MFA, EDR, vulnerability management, encryption, least-privilege.
- Monitor logs/events, respond to incidents, coordinate remediation, and run root-cause analyses.
- Support compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC, GDPR/DPDP) with documentation and audits.
Applications and ERP (where applicable)
- Coordinate with functional teams and partners on ERP administration (e.g., SAP S/4HANA BASIS L1/L2).
- Oversee application deployments, integrations, performance tuning, and environment refreshes.
- Manage upgrades/patches, transport management, and user provisioning across key business apps.
Service delivery and user enablement
- Own incident/problem/change processes; ensure SLA adherence and stakeholder communication.
- Standardize endpoint builds; oversee hardware lifecycle and peripheral/device management.
- Deliver training, knowledge base articles, and adoption programs for new tools.
Projects and improvements
- Plan and execute infrastructure refreshes, network rollouts, and security hardening projects.
- Evaluate and pilot new technologies; produce proposals and TCO/ROI justifications.
- Track project timelines/resources; escalate risks and keep leadership informed.
Vendor and partner management
- Source and negotiate with ISPs, OEMs, MSPs, and SaaS providers; manage SOWs and renewals.
- Ensure partner deliverables meet performance and security expectations.
Reporting and metrics
- Publish dashboards on uptime, incidents, capacity, patch compliance, and security posture.
- Present post-incident reviews and quarterly improvement plans to management.
Optional, industry-specific add-ons
- OT/plant connectivity and redundancy for multi-site operations.
- Warehouse/retail peripherals (barcode/RFID, POS), and specialized apps (e.g., TLB/truck load builder).
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
