Shaahi Creations Events is an event management company specialising in corporate events, luxury weddings and destination weddings. We create thoughtfully designed, personalised and memorable celebrations across India.
We are looking for creative, detail-oriented and design-focused interns who are passionate about wedding décor, spatial design, luxury aesthetics and visual storytelling.
This role is ideal for students or recent graduates from Architecture, Interior Design, Event Design, Fashion Design or other creative disciplines who want to build a career in luxury wedding design and destination wedding planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the design team in developing creative concepts for luxury and destination weddings.
- Create wedding mood boards, inspiration boards and design presentations.
- Research current wedding décor, styling and luxury event design trends.
- Develop concepts based on client requirements, venue characteristics and overall wedding themes.
- Assist in designing wedding stages, mandaps, entrances, lounges, dining areas, photo opportunities and other event spaces.
- Create layouts and basic spatial design concepts for wedding venues.
- Assist in preparing design presentations and client pitch decks.
- Research materials, fabrics, furniture, flowers, lighting, props and décor elements.
- Coordinate with vendors and production teams to understand design feasibility.
- Assist with venue visits, measurements and site documentation.
- Support the team in converting creative concepts into practical execution plans.
- Create visual references and design libraries for different wedding styles and destinations.
- Assist during live wedding setups and on-ground execution.
Social Media & Visual Content
The candidate should also have an interest in creating visual content and design inspiration for social media.
Responsibilities may include:
- Creating Instagram mood boards and visual concepts.
- Curating wedding inspiration for Pinterest.
- Creating Pinterest-style inspiration boards for décor concepts.
- Researching trending wedding aesthetics, colour palettes, décor styles and design references.
- Creating simple Instagram-ready visual content using Canva.
- Supporting the team with Instagram and Pinterest content ideas.
- Maintaining an organised library of wedding design references, images and inspirations.
- Understanding visual storytelling and luxury wedding aesthetics.
Design Skills
Preferred skills include:
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Canva
- Basic 3D visualisation / rendering
- Space planning
- Mood board creation
- Concept development
- Colour palette development
- Material and texture selection
- Basic knowledge of lighting and décor
- Strong understanding of proportions and spatial aesthetics
Knowledge of 3D rendering software such as Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray, D5 Render or similar tools will be an added advantage.
Requirements
- Students / graduates from Architecture, Interior Design, Event Design, Fashion Design, Visual Design or related fields.
- Strong creative and visual thinking.
- Good sense of colour, composition, proportion and aesthetics.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to create professional mood boards and presentations.
- Good working knowledge of Canva.
- Familiarity with Instagram and Pinterest.
- Ability to research and identify relevant design trends.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel for venue visits and wedding assignments.
- Ability to work collaboratively with designers, planners, vendors and clients.

Stipend
₹10,000 – ₹20,000 per month
The stipend will depend on the candidate's qualification, design skills, software proficiency, portfolio, creativity and overall suitability for the role.
Approved travel expenses for official venue visits and wedding assignments will be reimbursed as per company policy.
