Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee the company's logistics operations, ensuring timely dispatch, transportation, inventory coordination, and efficient supply chain management. The ideal candidate should have strong coordination skills and experience in managing logistics for manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and manage inbound and outbound logistics operations.
- Coordinate with transporters, warehouses, production, dispatch, and sales teams for timely deliveries.
- Ensure on-time dispatch of finished goods as per customer requirements.
- Monitor vehicle placement, route planning, and shipment tracking.
- Negotiate freight rates and maintain relationships with transport vendors.
- Ensure proper documentation, including e-way bills, invoices, LR copies, and delivery challans.
- Monitor inventory movement and coordinate with stores for stock availability.
- Resolve delivery delays, transportation issues, and customer logistics queries.
- Track logistics costs and implement cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
- Prepare logistics reports, dispatch MIS, and performance analysis.
- Coordinate with regional warehouses and distributors for smooth operations.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of logistics, transportation, and supply chain operations.
- Experience in dispatch planning and warehouse coordination.
- Good negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, MS Excel, and logistics software.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
Preferred Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, dispatch, or supply chain management.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
