- Team Supervision: Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate front desk, housekeeping, and security staff.
- Culture Building: Foster a positive, inclusive, and service-oriented work culture to maintain high employee morale.
- Cleanliness & Hygiene: Ensure the hostel, common areas, dorms, and bathrooms meet strict health and safety standards.
- Repairs & Stock: Oversee timely maintenance of the building, manage inventory levels (linens, toiletries, cleaning supplies), and supervise third-party vendors.
- Budgeting: Formulate operational and financial targets, track daily/monthly expenses, and manage the hostel’s budget.
- Profitability: Maximize revenue through up-selling (e.g., tours, bike rentals, F&B) while minimizing operational waste.
- Customer Service: Act as the primary escalation point for guest feedback, complaints, and requests.
- Risk Management: Implement and enforce house rules, emergency protocols, and security measures to ensure a safe environment for all residents.
