Change & Value Lead – SAP S/4HANA Transformation Program
Position Summary:
The Change & Value Lead is responsible for driving organizational change management, business readiness, stakeholder engagement, and value realization activities for the SAP S/4HANA transformation program. Operating within the Transformation Management Office (TMO), this role ensures that impacted business teams are prepared to adopt new processes and systems while helping leadership track and realize the expected business benefits of the transformation.
The role acts as the bridge between business stakeholders, program leadership, and the implementation partner to ensure successful user adoption and measurable business outcomes.
Key ResponsibilitiesOrganizational Change Management
- Develop and maintain the Program Change Management Strategy.
- Assess organizational impacts arising from new SAP processes, roles, and ways of working.
- Conduct stakeholder impact assessments across business functions.
- Identify change risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Monitor organizational readiness throughout the program lifecycle.
- Support leadership in managing change resistance and adoption challenges.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop stakeholder engagement and communication plans.
- Establish stakeholder networks and change champion communities.
- Facilitate engagement sessions with:
- Business Process Owners
- Functional Leaders
- Site Leaders
- End Users
- Gather stakeholder feedback and escalate concerns where necessary.
- Ensure stakeholder expectations remain aligned with program objectives.
Communications Management
- Develop and execute program communication strategies.
- Prepare executive and business communications regarding:
- Program progress
- Upcoming changes
- Business impacts
- Key milestones
- Coordinate newsletters, town halls, leadership briefings, and awareness campaigns.
- Ensure consistent messaging across all stakeholder groups.
Business Readiness
- Define and manage Business Readiness Framework.
- Establish readiness criteria for each implementation phase.
- Assess readiness across:

- Process
- Training
- Organizational Structure
- Support Model
- Conduct readiness reviews and report findings to program leadership.
- Identify gaps and coordinate remediation activities.
Training & Adoption Oversight
- Review training strategies and plans developed by the implementation partner.
- Ensure training materials align with business processes and user needs.
- Monitor training completion and effectiveness metrics.
- Assess user adoption levels before and after deployment.
- Support super-user and champion programs.
Value Realization Management
- Establish the Program Value Realization Framework.
- Define benefit categories and measurement approaches.
- Track realization of expected business benefits such as:
- Inventory Reduction
- Procurement Savings
- Working Capital Improvements
- Process Efficiency Gains
- Automation Benefits
- Operational Cost Reduction
- Work with business owners to validate benefit assumptions.
- Monitor actual versus planned value realization.
Benefits Tracking & Reporting
- Maintain a Benefits Register.
- Track benefit realization against approved business cases.
- Coordinate periodic value realization reviews.
- Escalate risks to achieving expected program benefits.
- Support executive decision-making through value-focused reporting.
Governance & Reporting
- Provide regular updates to:
- Program Leadership
- Steering Committee
- Executive Sponsors
- Develop dashboards and reports covering:
- Change Readiness
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Training Progress
- Adoption Metrics
- Value Realization Metrics
- Present findings and recommendations during governance forums.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Organizational Change Management (OCM), Transformation, or Business Readiness roles.
- Experience supporting large-scale ERP or SAP transformation programs.
- Strong understanding of change management methodologies.
- Experience developing stakeholder engagement and communication strategies.
- Experience measuring and tracking business benefits.
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with executives, business leaders, and operational teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Pay: ₹567,080.27 - ₹2,097,033.95 per year
