About This Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Integration Engineer to support the operation and maintenance of Ericsson BSS Charging Systems. The role involves managing network changes, resolving technical issues, performing system audits, implementing customer requirements, and ensuring the reliable operation of critical charging system nodes.
The successful candidate will work in a dynamic telecom environment and collaborate with customers, internal teams, and stakeholders to deliver robust network solutions.
What You Will Do
Perform operation and maintenance activities for Ericsson BSS Charging Systems.
Implement planned changes and resolve issues impacting the network.
Execute ICP updates and node configuration changes through approved change requests.
Configure and maintain charging system nodes, including:SDP, CCN, OCC, AIR, NGVS
Maintain the operational calendar and ensure timely execution of planned activities.
Analyze customer requirements and implement approved solutions in the network.
Conduct audits on various charging system nodes.
Prepare implementation plans to address audit findings and customer requirements.
Perform feasibility analysis and propose suitable solutions for network changes.
Support incident, problem, and change management activities as required.
Provide night-shift support throughout the month, five days per week.
Technical Skills
Good exposure to system administration activities in a telecom environment.
Strong knowledge of charging system operations and maintenance.
Good working knowledge of RHEL and UNIX commands.
Understanding of network and technology evolution from an IN perspective, including converged networks.
Relevant experience in the Intelligent Network domain.
Knowledge of IN protocols, including:
INAP, CAMEL, Diameter
Mandatory experience with Ericsson Charging Systems.
Knowledge of ICP updates for charging system nodes.
Experience with Ericsson IN nodes such as SDP, CCN, OCC, AIR, and NGVS.
Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
You Will Bring
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
5–10 years of total experience, including 3–4 years of hands-on experience with Ericsson IN Charging Systems.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team with minimal supervision.
Ability to work in a matrix management environment.
Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Ability to support the preparation of network solution presentations.
A customer-focused approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a 24x7 operations environment.
