Job Summary:
The company is looking for an experienced Lead Civil Design Engineer to manage the civil design team. The role requires expertise in land development, surveying, road & highway design, along with experience in client coordination and project estimation.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Project Management :

Lead and manage a team of civil design engineers and drafters.

Oversee project planning, execution, and timely delivery of design outputs.

Review and approve design drawings, models, and technical documentation.
-
Ensure adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
Client Management & Estimation :
-
Act as a primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
-
Manage client communication, expectations, and deliverables.
-
Participate in client meetings and provide technical inputs.
-
Prepare project scope, effort estimation, and timelines.
-
Support proposal development and cost estimation for new projects.
Land Development & Surveying :
-
Lead site development projects including grading, earthwork, and infrastructure planning.
-
Oversee surface modelling, grading design, and cut-fill analysis.
-
Guide teams in handling and integrating land survey data into design workflows.
Road & Highway Design :
-
Lead roadway and highway design including alignments, profiles, and corridor modelling.
-
Oversee intersection design and complex roadway elements.
-
Ensure compliance with applicable design standards.
Technical Oversight :
-
Provide expertise in Civil 3D for advanced modelling and design tasks.

Review utility designs including stormwater, drainage, and sewer systems.

Ensure preparation of high-quality construction drawings and documentation.
Role Requirements :

Strong experience in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
-
Proven expertise in land development and site grading.
-
Hands-on experience in land surveying and survey data management.
-
Extensive experience in road and highway design (alignments, corridors, intersections).
-
Strong knowledge of surface modelling and cut-fill analysis.
-
Experience in utility design (stormwater, sewer, drainage systems).
-
Experience in client management, client coordination, and stakeholder communication.
-
Ability to prepare project estimations, scope definition, and timelines.

Understanding of US/Canada civil design standards (preferred).
Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (BE/B.Tech – Civil).

8–14 years of experience in civil design and leadership roles.
