We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Mid-Level Web Designer to support the ongoing development, maintenance, and optimization of websites across multiple platforms. This role involves editing website content, building new pages, uploading products, and handling day-to-day website updates with speed, accuracy, and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and update website content across multiple websites
- Build and format landing pages, product pages, and standard website pages
- Upload and manage products, images, pricing, and collections for eCommerce stores
- Perform basic styling and layout adjustments using HTML/CSS and platform builders
- Manage and configure WordPress plugins as required
- Handle website migrations, backups, and hosting-related tasks
- Configure domains, hosting, SSL certificates, and email settings when required
- Maintain consistent branding, formatting, and user experience across websites
- Complete website updates and assigned tasks within deadlines
- Troubleshoot minor website layout, formatting, plugin, hosting, or content-related issues
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams on website updates and campaign implementation
Required Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on experience with:
- Wix
- Squarespace
- Shopify development and store management
- WordPress website management and customization
- Figma
Working knowledge of:
- HTML
- CSS
- WordPress plugins and backend management
- Responsive layouts and page builders
- Website migration processes
- cPanel and hosting management
Strong experience with page builders such as:
- Elementor
- WPBakery
- Other drag-and-drop website builders
Hosting & Server Knowledge:
- Experience working with major hosting providers
- GoDaddy hosting setup and management
- Domain pointing and DNS configuration
- SSL installation and troubleshooting
- Basic email and hosting configurations
Additional requirements:
- Ability to manage multiple website tasks efficiently and accurately
- Strong attention to detail and visual presentation
- Comfortable handling repetitive website updates and content management tasks
- Good understanding of layout, spacing, and user experience principles
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SEO best practices
- Familiarity with Canva, Photoshop, or other basic graphic editing tools
- Understanding of eCommerce workflows and product management
- Basic knowledge of website performance optimization and mobile responsiveness
