We are looking for a passionate Mechanical Design Engineer to join our R&D team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or professionals with up to 2 years of experience who are eager to build a career in product design and new product development.
About the Role
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will support the development of innovative electromechanical products from concept through prototype and validation. Working alongside experienced design engineers, you will gain hands-on experience in CAD modeling, engineering documentation, product testing, and new product development.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on global engineering projects and develop expertise in mechanical design, manufacturing processes, and product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Senior Design Engineers in developing product concepts for customer RFQs.
- Create and modify 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
- Prepare engineering documentation, including drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and design records.
- Assist in engineering calculations, tolerance stack-up analysis, and GD&T implementation.
- Participate in concept review meetings and incorporate design improvements based on technical feedback.
- Assemble prototype samples and perform functional testing.
- Support design validation and product improvement activities.
- Maintain design documentation, customer requirements, DFMEA, and Engineering Change Management (ECM) records.
- Apply reverse engineering techniques to existing products when required.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, and Product Development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
- 0–2 years of experience in Mechanical Design or Product Development.
- Fresh graduates with relevant internships or academic projects are encouraged to apply.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
