Stalwart Laboratories is hiring a Stores Head for our pharmaceutical
intermediates manufacturing plant.
WORK LOCATION (On-site, Non-negotiable):
Plot Nos. 292–296, Kadechur Industrial Area,
Kadechur Village, Yadagir Taluka & Dist,
Karnataka State – 585221, India.
Candidates MUST be willing to relocate to / work from Kadechur.
Responsibilities:
- Manage receipt, inspection, storage, and issuance of all raw materials,
solvents, reagents, packaging materials, and engineering spares
- Maintain accurate inventory records (physical and system) at all times
- Implement and enforce GMP-compliant stores practices per SOPs
- Coordinate with procurement team for timely purchase orders and
vendor follow-ups
- Handle FIFO/FEFO inventory rotation to prevent material expiry or
degradation
- Conduct periodic stock reconciliation, cycle counts, and annual
physical inventory audits
- Ensure proper labelling, quarantine, and release of materials as per
QA guidelines
- Maintain temperature and humidity-controlled storage for sensitive
raw materials and solvents
- Manage hazardous chemical storage in compliance with MSDS/SDS
and safety norms
- Oversee inward/outward documentation — GRN, material requisitions,
delivery challans
- Liaise with production, QC, QA, and logistics departments for
seamless material flow
- Manage and train the stores team (storekeepers, helpers)
- Generate MIS reports on inventory levels, consumption, and variances
Requirements:
- B.Sc (Chemistry preferred) / B.Com / Diploma in Materials Management
or Supply Chain
- 5–10 years of stores/inventory management experience, preferably in
pharma or chemical manufacturing
- Knowledge of GMP stores practices and pharma inventory norms
- Proficiency in SAP / Tally / ERP systems for inventory management
- Familiarity with hazardous chemical storage and safety regulations
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- Leadership ability to manage a stores team
- Kannada language skills preferred (local area)
