WordPress & Elementor Web Designer / Developer (0–2 Years)About the Role
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented WordPress & Elementor Web Designer / Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about building modern, responsive, and high-performing websites using WordPress and Elementor. This role involves designing and maintaining client websites, optimising website speed, implementing on-page SEO best practices, and ensuring an excellent user experience across all devices.

Key Responsibilities
Website Design & Development
- Design and develop responsive WordPress websites using Elementor Pro.
- Create landing pages, business websites, and marketing pages with a strong focus on user experience and conversions.
- Customise WordPress themes and templates without affecting website performance.
- Manage headers, footers, global styles, templates, and reusable components.
- Ensure websites are fully responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Website Maintenance
- Perform regular website updates, plugin management, backups, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website bugs, layout issues, and compatibility problems.
- Monitor website health and ensure smooth functionality.
Website Speed Optimisation
- Optimise website loading speed and Core Web Vitals.
- Compress and convert images to WebP format.
- Implement caching, lazy loading, CSS/JavaScript optimisation, and other performance improvements.
- Use tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights and GTmetrix to monitor and improve performance.
SEO & Performance
- Implement on-page SEO best practices using Rank Math or Yoast SEO.
- Optimise page titles, meta descriptions, headings, image alt tags, internal linking, and URL structures.
- Maintain XML sitemaps, redirects, schema markup, and robots.txt where required.
- Ensure websites are search engine friendly and technically optimised.
Website Integrations
- Configure contact forms, email integrations, analytics, and tracking tools.
- Integrate Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console, Microsoft Clarity, Mailchimp, and other marketing tools as required.
Collaboration
- Work closely with designers, SEO specialists, content writers, and digital marketing teams.
- Convert Figma or design mock-ups into fully functional WordPress pages.
- Suggest improvements to website performance, design, and user experience.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS.
- Hands-on experience with Elementor Pro.
- Good understanding of responsive web design.
- Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
- Basic understanding of JavaScript.
- Experience with WordPress themes and plugins.
- Knowledge of website speed optimisation techniques.
- Understanding of Core Web Vitals and Google PageSpeed Insights.
- Familiarity with Rank Math or Yoast SEO.
- Knowledge of image optimisation, WebP, lazy loading, and caching.
- Basic understanding of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager.
- Ability to troubleshoot WordPress issues independently.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with WooCommerce.
- Knowledge of Cloudflare and CDN configuration.
- Basic knowledge of cPanel, FTP, SSL, DNS, and website hosting.
- Experience working with Figma or Adobe XD.
- Basic understanding of PHP and custom CSS.
- Familiarity with Git or version control.
- Understanding of UI/UX principles and conversion-focused design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Multimedia, or a related field.
- Experience: 0–2 years (Freshers with strong portfolios or internship experience are encouraged to apply.)
