We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our state-of-the-art Ivan Ward Centre, delivering hospital and rest home level care through our innovative household model. Tuesday to Saturday | 0645-1515 | 40 hours
As a Registered Nurse, you will lead the clinical care within your household, providing guidance, clinical expertise, and compassionate leadership. Reporting to the Clinical Manager, you'll build meaningful relationships with residents and their whānau, ensuring care plans reflect each individual's needs and preferences.
You will be responsible for:

Providing the exceptional standard of care you would want for your own family members

Leading and supporting Care Partners to deliver holistic, resident-centred care

Working collaboratively with Clinical Managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure wrap-around support

Undertaking clinical assessments, care planning, and ongoing evaluation of resident wellbeing

Creating an environment that promotes dignity, connection, and quality of life for every resident
He pūkenga tou | Skills & Experience
You will bring:

New Zealand Registered Nurse status with a current Annual Practising Certificate

A minimum of three years' aged care nursing experience in New Zealand

Strong clinical assessment and observation skills

Sound clinical knowledge and judgement

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
A compassionate and resident-focused approach to care
-
InterRAI experience (desirable)

Strong computer literacy
-
Proven ability to build positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
