About the Role
Zorrro Deliveries Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support day-to-day finance and accounting operations. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with statutory compliance, performing reconciliations, and supporting operational finance activities. Candidates should have strong accounting fundamentals, proficiency in Tally Prime, and good Excel skills.
Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Bookkeeping
- Record daily accounting transactions in Tally Prime.
- Pass Journal, Purchase, Sales, Receipt, Payment, Contra, Debit Note, and Credit Note entries.
- Maintain General Ledger and books of accounts.
- Verify accounting documents and maintain accurate financial records.
Bank Reconciliation
- Prepare daily and monthly Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
- Reconcile bank statements with Tally records.
- Resolve discrepancies and monitor online banking transactions.
GST & Compliance
- Assist in GST returns, TDS deductions, and statutory compliance.
- Maintain tax records and coordinate with Chartered Accountants during audits.
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process vendor invoices and payments.
- Maintain vendor and customer ledgers.
- Prepare customer invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
Petty Cash & Operational Finance
- Maintain petty cash records and employee reimbursements.
- Support rider payout verification and operational finance activities.
- Verify operational data using Excel and Google Sheets.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily finance reports and monthly MIS.
- Support month-end and year-end closing.
- Maintain organized accounting records and audit-ready documentation.
Coordination
- Work closely with HR, Operations, vendors, banks, auditors, and management.
Required Qualifications
- B.Com or related degree.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience.
- Experience in logistics, startups, or service industries is an added advantage.
Technical Skills
- Tally Prime (Mandatory)
- MS Excel: VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF, SUMIF, Filters, Basic Formulas
- Google Sheets & MS Word
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, Bank Reconciliation, AP, AR, General Ledger, Trial Balance, and basic Payroll Accounting.
