Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain leader to head end-to-end Materials Management and Supply Chain operations for a large industrial organization. The role is responsible for driving procurement strategy, inventory optimization, logistics, warehousing, vendor management, contract management, ERP-enabled supply chain processes, and operational excellence across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead strategic sourcing, procurement, contract management, and vendor development.
- Drive inventory optimization, warehouse management, and working capital improvement.
- Manage logistics, transportation, imports, and supply planning for uninterrupted operations.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies, governance frameworks, SOPs, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Lead commercial negotiations with suppliers, contractors, and logistics partners.
- Ensure ERP-driven procurement, inventory accuracy, compliance, and reporting.
- Build and mentor high-performing supply chain, procurement, logistics, and stores teams.
- Drive cost optimization, supplier performance, risk management, and process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Materials Management, Operations, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain, Operations, or Business Administration preferred.
- 15–20 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Materials Management, Logistics, and Inventory Management.
- Minimum 8–10 years in a senior leadership role managing integrated supply chain functions.
- Strong experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent.
