Svitla Systems Inc. is looking for a Design Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Ukraine. Our client creates AI solutions for live and social experiences, allowing users to build interactive apps, rituals, and environments that function in real time across devices.

Every role in the project is dual: a founding platform builder first, with design engineering and the human-agent interface (3D & UI) edge that shapes the platform. As agents take on more execution, people need interfaces that make work visible, steerable, and enjoyable. You'll design surfaces that keep humans in flow while the combined workforce moves.

The stack: Svelte / modern JS frontends, multi-modal pipelines, 3D engines, real-time visualization, design systems, data-dense surfaces, and multiplayer-aware agent interfaces.

REQUIREMENTS

You use AI as part of your own design and engineering loop, not as a side tool.
You build polished, high-performance interfaces in Svelte, modern JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Experience with charting/data-visualization libraries (D3, Recharts).
Built or owned a design system or component library.
You move from taste and prototype to production UI without losing clarity.
You care about interfaces that make complex systems feel legible, steerable, and calm.
You have a strong taste for attention, motion, hierarchy, and interaction.
Your intuition translates across software, spatial interaction, and hardware-adjacent surfaces.

NICE TO HAVE

A portfolio of data-dense or real-time interfaces.
Notable GitHub work or hard side projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Design the steering surfaces that keep humans in flow while humans and agents move together.

Push from dashboards to steering surfaces: make agent behavior visible, tactile, and calm.

Design the steering layer: intent, visibility, confirmation, and delight across many agents.

Build visualizations for traditional and novel signals.

Establish the component library, patterns, and design tokens from scratch.

Translate agent behavior and AI capability into intuitive interfaces.

Extend beyond flat dashboards into spatial, 3D, and hardware-adjacent surfaces when they make work clearer.
