Junior Accountant
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant with 1â2 years of experience to support our Finance & Accounts team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing invoices, reconciling accounts, assisting in statutory compliance, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Book keeping

Record daily financial transactions and maintain accounting records.

Prepare and post journal entries in accounting software.

Maintain general ledger and subsidiary ledgers.

Verify and process vendor invoices and employee reimbursements.
Accounts Payable & Receivable

Process vendor payments and ensure timely settlements.

Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on collections.

Reconcile customer and vendor accounts periodically.
Bank & Ledger Reconciliation

Perform monthly bank reconciliations.

Reconcile ledger balances and investigate discrepancies.

Ensure accuracy of financial records and supporting documentation.
Taxation & Compliance

Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities.

Support preparation and filing of tax returns and related documentation.

Maintain records required for audits and compliance reviews.
Financial Reporting

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Support budget tracking and expense analysis.

Provide data and reports required by management.
Administration Support

Assist in maintaining office records, vendor documentation, and procurement-related paperwork.

Support day-to-day administrative activities, including asset management, facility coordination, and office operations.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, or related field.

1â2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.

Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance requirements.

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar).
