We are looking for a sales and marketing leader for driving the growth of system integration projects across pharmaceutical companies across the country. The ideal candidate shall possess necessary domain expertise on pharma combined with exposure to automation and control, and a strong functional background in sales and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop a sound understanding of the Pharma market
· Work with the customer's top-level management and decision makers to generate leads and convert them same to firm orders
· Plans, organises and develops the full sales effort to ensure that the company achieves objectives for sales performance, profit margin, customer and market penetration and growth.
· Develop a regional sales strategy covering the key Pharma hubs
· Responsible for closing sales and meeting the agreed annual sales and orders targets. Develops sales forecasts and budgets in conjunction with the management
· Coordinate to ensure smooth and successful execution of orders
· Support after-sales requirements
· Willingness to travel extensively
· Develop marketing communication materials for the products
· Seek service opportunities and convert to orders
Skills
· Pharma automation background
· Sound awareness of automation and control along with software solutions in particular, Building Management System (BMS), Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) and Low Voltage Systems (LVS) in the pharmaceutical domain.
· Well conversant with sales and marketing methodologies, with a proven track record of opportunity to order conversion
· Should have food connections with Engineering, quality, supply chain and production of pharma customers, pharma design consultants and turnkey contractors
· Excellent communication (oral & written) and organizational skills. Being well-versed with English, Hindi, and any local languages will be an added advantage
· Financially savvy to convert opportunity pipeline to orders
· Team player with good adaptability
· Technology, Innovation and creativity focus
Experience Level:
· 5+ years, preferably selling automation and control products, including software to Pharma companies
Educational Qualifications:
· Graduate in any engineering discipline with MBA in marketing
· Basic software knowledge – PC Based, Web and Cloud Applications
· Exposure to automation & control as applied in Pharma will be an added advantage
