- Incident Escalations & Troubleshooting: Act as the primary escalation point for L1 support to resolve complex L2 network issues related to virtual routing, VPC/VNet peering, cloud firewalls, transit gateways, and VPN connections within defined SLAs.
- Hybrid & Cloud Connectivity: Manage and troubleshoot IPsec VPNs, SSL VPNs, and dedicated cloud interconnects (e.g., AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute).
- Network Security & Firewalls: Support virtual firewall administration (Palo Alto VM-Series, FortiGate VM, AWS/Azure native firewalls), including security group updates, ACLs, routing policies, and NAT rules.
- Monitoring & RCA: Proactively monitor cloud network health and traffic flows using native and enterprise monitoring tools; conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for network outages and major incidents.
- Change Management: Implement cloud network updates, routing adjustments, and security patches adhering strictly to ITIL change management processes.
- Vendor & Service Management: Coordinate with cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), ISPs, and software vendors for service disruptions and technical resolutions.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain up-to-date cloud network topology diagrams, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and operational documentation while ensuring adherence to security and compliance standards.
- Shift Operations: Participate in 24x7 shift rosters and major incident management activities as required.

- Virtual Routing & Switching: Deep understanding of BGP, OSPF, static routing, subnets, NAT, and overlay network concepts in cloud environments.
- Cloud Security & Next-Gen Firewalls: Experience administering virtual firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto VM-Series, Fortinet FortiGate-VM) and native cloud security services (AWS Network Firewall, Azure Firewall, Security Groups/NSGs).
- VPN & Secure Access: Strong expertise in IPsec site-to-site VPNs, SSL/Client VPNs, and Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) frameworks.
- Monitoring & Observability: Hands-on experience with cloud-native monitoring (AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor) or third-party tools (Datadog, SolarWinds, Zabbix, PRTG, CloudWatch).
- ITIL Framework: Strong understanding of ITIL-based Incident, Problem, and Change Management workflows.
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
