Job Summary
Symbiosis School is seeking an experienced and committed Deputy Head to support the Director, Principal, of School in ensuring academic excellence, effective school administration, faculty development, and smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in the school education sector and a thorough understanding of the State Board curriculum and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Director of School in managing academic and administrative functions.
- Ensure effective implementation of the State Board curriculum and academic standards.
- Monitor teaching quality, lesson planning, assessments, and student learning outcomes.
- Mentor and evaluate teaching staff while promoting continuous professional development.
- Oversee student discipline, attendance, and overall well-being.
- Coordinate examinations, school events, inspections, and academic activities.
- Ensure compliance with State Board guidelines, statutory requirements, and school policies.
- Foster strong relationships with parents, teachers, students, and other stakeholders.
- Drive initiatives to improve academic performance and overall school excellence.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 12–15 years of experience in the school education sector, preferably with reputed State Board schools.
- Prior experience in a leadership role such as Vice Principal, Deputy Head, Academic Coordinator, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of State Board curriculum, school administration, and educational policies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and team management skills.
- Ability to handle academic planning, faculty management, and parent relations effectively.
- Local Pune candidates will be preferred.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹110,000.00 per month
