Job description: HR/ Admin Manager

Role overview
We are looking for a confident and experienced HR Manager to lead end-to-end human resources and administration functions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in talent acquisition, payroll processing, employee lifecycle management, HR operations, compliance, and employee engagement. The role requires excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and the confidence to coordinate directly with the Managing Director and senior leadership team.
Key responsibilitiesTalent acquisition & recruitment
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding.
- Prepare and update job descriptions for various roles.
- Post job openings on recruitment portals such as Indeed, LinkedIn, and Naukri (mandatory experience).
- Source, screen, and shortlist candidates through job portals and professional networks.
- Schedule and align interviews with hiring managers and leadership.
- Conduct HR interviews and coordinate interview processes.
- Manage salary negotiations and offer discussions with candidates.
- Coordinate with the Managing Director and department heads for new hiring requirements.
HR operations
- Prepare and issue offer letters, appointment letters, confirmation letters, experience letters, and other HR documents.
- Manage employee onboarding, induction, and orientation programs.
- Handle employee documentation and maintain HR records.
- Process employee confirmations, transfers, promotions, and other employment-related documentation.
Payroll & HRMS management
- Process monthly payroll accurately and within timelines.
- Manage salary processing through HRMS/payroll software.
- Maintain attendance records, leave management, and payroll inputs.
- Coordinate with finance for payroll reconciliation and statutory deductions.
- Ensure accurate salary disbursement and payroll compliance.
Employee lifecycle management
- Handle full and final settlements (F&F).
- Manage resignation processes and exit formalities.
- Conduct exit interviews and prepare exit reports.
- Ensure smooth employee offboarding and clearance procedures.
Statutory compliance
- Handle PF-related documentation, compliance, and employee queries.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies and statutory requirements.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation as per organizational standards.
Employee engagement & culture
- Plan and execute employee engagement activities.
- Organize and coordinate internal events, celebrations, and team-building initiatives.
- Participate actively in event management and event hosting.
- Drive employee engagement programs to enhance workplace culture.
Administration
- Possess sound administration knowledge and coordinate general administrative activities.
- Manage and monitor vendor coordination related to HR and administration.
- Handle monthly invoice verification and clearance in coordination with the finance team.
- Support office administration and facility-related requirements.
Leadership & coordination
- Lead and mentor the HR team.
- Coordinate effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure smooth execution of HR initiatives across departments.
- Maintain strong stakeholder management and communication across all levels.

Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
- MBA in Human Resources (preferred).
- Additional HR certifications or a degree/diploma in Human Resource Management will be an added advantage.
Mandatory experience
- 7–8 years of HR generalist experience.
- Hands-on experience in Indeed, LinkedIn, and Naukri recruitment portals.
- Experience in payroll processing, HRMS, attendance, and leave management.
- Experience in employee engagement, recruitment, onboarding, exit management, and statutory compliance.
- Prior experience in team handling and coordination with senior leadership/Managing Director.
Preferred profile
Candidates with experience in healthcare, pharma, edtech, startup, or corporate environments and exposure to both HR and administration functions will be preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
