We are seeking a proactive and experienced Plant Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our fly ash brick and paver block manufacturing unit, along with supervision of shed and building construction activities at the plant site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise production operations of fly ash bricks and paver blocks to ensure quality, efficiency, and timely output.
- Monitor raw material usage (fly ash, cement, aggregates, water) and control wastage.
- Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of machinery, including mixers, hydraulic presses, conveyors, and curing systems.
- Implement quality control measures to maintain product strength, dimensions, and finish as per standards.
- Manage and supervise plant labor, assign duties, and ensure discipline and productivity.
- Maintain daily production reports, stock registers, and material consumption records.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.
- Coordinate with suppliers and management for procurement of raw materials and spare parts.
- Supervise construction of sheds, factory buildings, and related infrastructure.
- Ensure construction work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and timelines.
- Monitor contractors, labor teams, and site activities to ensure quality and cost control.
- Report regularly to management regarding production, issues, and progress of construction work.
Requirements:
- Diploma or experience in Civil / Mechanical / Production field preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in brick, block, or construction industry.
- Practical knowledge of fly ash brick and paver block manufacturing process.
- Ability to handle labor and manage site operations independently.
- Basic record-keeping and reporting skills.
- Strong problem-solving and supervisory skills.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Knowledge of machinery maintenance.
- Experience in small-scale plant setup or construction supervision.
- Familiarity with cost control and inventory management.
