Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic and responsible Cafe Handler to manage daily operations at our cafe in Rampurhat. The ideal candidate will handle a mix of customer service, beverage and light food preparation, and basic inventory management. You will be the face of our cafe, responsible for maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, ensuring impeccable hygiene, and delivering a consistent, high-quality experience to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Beverage & Food Prep: Prepare and serve cafe beverages (coffee, tea, shakes) and light snacks/meals according to prescribed recipes and quality standards.
- Customer Service: Take customer orders warmly, serve food and drinks promptly, and ensure a positive guest experience.
- Cleanliness & Upkeep: Maintain the cleanliness of the cafe counter, dining area, and specialized cafe equipment (e.g., espresso machines, blenders).
- Inventory Management: Monitor daily stock levels for cafe supplies (coffee beans, milk, syrups, baked goods, etc.), handle ordering, and minimize wastage to maintain budget discipline.
- Quality Control: Ensure all items are served fresh, hygienically, and beautifully presented.
- General Operations: Follow professional cafe practices, including punctuality, proper conduct, and maintaining a safe, organized working environment.
Eligibility Criteria
- Experience: Prior experience in a cafe, hospitality, or customer service role is preferred. However, freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn are highly encouraged to apply (full training will be provided).
- Location: Candidates from Rampurhat, Kamarpatti, or nearby areas will be given preference.
- Skills: Basic understanding of inventory management and an ability to operate cafe equipment.
- Attributes: Hardworking, disciplined, customer-friendly, and capable of strictly maintaining hygiene standards.
