Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Automation Engineer – Maintenance to maintain, troubleshoot, and improve automated production equipment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with PLCs, HMIs, electrical control systems, sensors, and machine breakdown maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of automation equipment.
- Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, servo, VFD, and electrical control systems.
- Diagnose and resolve machine faults to minimize downtime.
- Modify PLC programs when required to improve machine performance.
- Maintain electrical control panels and machine wiring.
- Calibrate sensors, actuators, and other automation devices.
- Support production by ensuring maximum machine availability.
- Coordinate with production and quality teams during machine issues.
- Maintain maintenance records and documentation.
- Follow safety procedures and 5S standards.
Required Technical Skills
- PLC Programming & Troubleshooting (XINJE, Delta, Mitsubishi, Siemens, or Allen-Bradley)
- HMI troubleshooting and configuration
- Servo Motors & Servo Drives
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFD)
- Electrical Control Panels
- Sensors (Proximity, Photoelectric, Temperature, Pressure)
- Pneumatic and Hydraulic Systems
- Industrial Electrical Maintenance
- Machine Wiring & Control Circuits
- Preventive & Predictive Maintenance
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of Special Purpose Machines (SPM)
- Fixture Automation Maintenance
- Industrial Communication (Modbus RTU, RS485, Ethernet)
- Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Basic knowledge of robotics is an added advantage
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
Pay: ₹323,949.93 - ₹600,000.00 per year
