We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrical In-Charge to oversee the electrical systems and maintenance activities of the cinema theatre. The candidate must possess a valid C & B Electrical License and be responsible for ensuring the safe and uninterrupted operation of all electrical installations and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and maintain all electrical systems within the cinema theatre premises.
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply for auditoriums, projection systems, HVAC, lighting, and F&B outlets.
- Conduct preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
- Monitor HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, UPS systems, and electrical distribution networks.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and coordinate timely repairs.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety regulations and statutory requirements.
- Maintain electrical maintenance records, logs, and documentation.
- Coordinate with external contractors, vendors, and government authorities when required.
- Lead and supervise electrical technicians and maintenance staff.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and rectify potential hazards.
- Ensure efficient energy utilization and cost control measures.
- Support theatre operations during special events and peak business hours.
Requirements
- Diploma / ITI / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Valid C & B Electrical License is mandatory.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in cinema theatres, malls, commercial buildings, or hospitality sectors.
- Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, DG sets, UPS, HVAC, and electrical safety standards.
- Ability to lead a maintenance team and handle emergency situations.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of AMC management and vendor coordination.
- Familiarity with electrical compliance and statutory inspections.
- Basic computer knowledge for maintenance reporting.
