Job Title: Accountant – Bio Fuel Industry
Location: Seoraphuli, West Bengal
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Working Hours: 10:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Experience Required: 2 – 4 years
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations in a Bio Fuel manufacturing company. The candidate should have hands-on experience in bookkeeping, GST, and financial reporting, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setup.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions
- Handle purchase, sales, and expense entries in accounting software (Tally or similar)
- Prepare and maintain GST records, returns, and compliance documents
- Manage bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
- Assist in monthly and yearly financial closing
- Prepare invoices, vouchers, and supporting documentation
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits
- Monitor payable and receivable accounts
- Maintain proper documentation for fuel/raw material procurement and stock entries
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com or equivalent)
- 2–4 years of accounting experience (manufacturing/industrial experience preferred)
- Good knowledge of Tally / accounting software
- Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in Bio Fuel / Oil / Chemical / Manufacturing industry will be an advantage
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
