We are seeking a proactive Retail Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our furniture retail store. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing the showroom floor, leading a team of sales associates, and ensuring every customer has an exceptional shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive store sales performance to consistently meet and exceed monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff scheduling, and facility maintenance.
- Recruit, train, and motivate the retail sales team to deliver outstanding, consultative customer service.
- Address and resolve customer complaints or delivery issues with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and coordinate with the warehouse for seamless customer deliveries.
- Maintain high standards of visual merchandising by arranging furniture displays attractively and keeping the showroom immaculate.
- Analyze daily sales reports and consumer trends to provide actionable feedback to upper management.
- Ensure full compliance with all company policies, safety protocols, and operational guidelines.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or in a similar leadership role.
- Prior experience in the furniture, home decor, or luxury retail industry is highly advantageous.
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving team performance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in Bengali and Hindi, along with working knowledge of English, to effectively communicate with the local customer base.
- Solid understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and basic point-of-sale (POS) software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet retail business demands.
Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
