OPTRA CARE is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sports Physiotherapist to join our clinical team. The position is intended for an experienced clinician with a strong academic foundation and demonstrated expertise in the assessment, rehabilitation, and performance management of athletes and sports-related injuries.
We are looking for an individual who can independently manage clinical cases, apply evidence-based rehabilitation principles, and work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
- MPT or MS-PT in Sports Sciences or Exercise Science from a reputable university in India or abroad.
- Minimum 2 years of experience after completion of Master's degree in treating athletes and sports injuries in a clinical setting.
- Thorough hands-on experience in Strength & Conditioning-based rehabilitation is mandatory.
- Demonstrated competence in Return to Sports (RTS) rehabilitation and progression is mandatory.
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
The candidate must possess:
- Certification in Dry Needling
- Certification in Soft Tissue Release
- Certification in Athletic Taping
- Certification in Cupping
- Strength & Conditioning certification will be considered an added advantage.
KEY COMPETENCIES
- Strong clinical assessment and reasoning skills with the ability to formulate and execute structured rehabilitation programmes.
- Ability to manage sports injury rehabilitation with a clear focus on functional recovery, performance, and safe Return to Sports.
- Strong practical understanding and application of Strength & Conditioning principles in rehabilitation.
- Ability to work effectively as a team player within a multidisciplinary professional environment, contributing towards common clinical and organisational objectives.
- Excellent communication skills, clarity of thought, and ability to articulate clinical reasoning and treatment strategies effectively.
- Strong professional work ethic, accountability, and commitment to patient outcomes.
- Ability to deliver measurable clinical results and contribute towards clinic revenue and business objectives while working effectively under pressure.
COMPENSATION
Pay: ₹34,547.03 – ₹55,697.06 per month
The final compensation offered will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, clinical expertise, experience, demonstrated capabilities, and overall suitability for the role.
IMPORTANT ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Please note that this position is specifically intended for qualified and experienced Sports Physiotherapists. Freshers and candidates without a Master's degree will not be considered for this position.
